Water Management GmbH & Co. KG has been established as a special purpose
company to carry out the management contract. The newly established company
assumes full responsibility for the management, operation and maintenance of
the Water Companies of Bukhara and Samarkand. The Bukhara and Samarkand Water
Supply Project seeks to improve the safety, quality, reliability, efficiency,
financial viability, and sustainability of the water supply services in Bukhara
and Samarkand.
